Do any of you advertise on your blogs, do people buy the adverts?
What's your thoughts in general on them?
What about buying adverts from other bloggers - do you find you get a lot of traffic on them? How much are you willing to pay?
What about price to pay per page views? There's a lot of vague information about how much you should charge/pay based on monthly page views. I kind of go by the £1 by 1000 views rule for the largest adds on my site - do you think that's fair?
I'm advertising on my blog and thinking of using the money I earn to advertise my blog on other blogs so if you know of any good places to advertise, please let me know!

I'd be interested in knowing how it goes for you! I have Adsense on my blog but my following and page views aren't high enough for me to start selling advertising. I would be up for sticking someone's button in my sidebar and giving them my button to do the same though as a sort of mutual promotion if I liked the blog I bought a small ad on someone's site once but I didn't get much traffic through it at all. Maybe I need to go bigger

I don't get enough traffic just yet to warrant charging, however I love button swapping so feel free to message me if u do too! Advertising seems like the main revenue for big bloggers so can see why its used

I really dislike the thought of paying someone for a tiny spot on their blog.

I really love the blog I advertised on so I don't mind so much!

I don't know why I do, it just really irks me that some people can basically charge people to be advertised on their blog. I think blogging should be more community rather than payasyougo. Just my opinion really. Glad you love them so much for that though, it's nice to be appreciated and knowing you're doing a good job, isn't it!

Some blogs get crazy views so think they might as well share the love haha it's mad wat people pay for a little bit of advertising, especially companies! The only thing that annoys me is when I go on a blog i've loved from the start and all you see now is sponsored post, sponsored post, sponsored post as i feel like i'm just visiting to be advertised to rather than seein what's new with that person.
I've noticed you have a heck of a lot of followers Corinne, I was going to comment but didn't know if i'd be found in all the other ones! Do you mind if I ask how you think you've made your blog successful? Any tips would help as mine is feeling a little stagnant despite being at it for nearly two years xo
