What's your preferred type of exercise?
I started outdoors running/cycling this July and I love it. I hate going to the gym now and I don't understand why somebody would join the gym (unless for classes/weights) or why on earth they would prefer to go to the gym when they can just run outside! I was a bit scared at first to take the plunge, but it's not as scary as it seems! I'm not as paranoid as I thought I would be about people looking at me!
Are you an indoor or an outdoor type of guy/girl?

I'm an innie. I enjoy pilates and yoga. Although now I've relocated to Reykjavik, a lot of locals cycle around so I think I may invest in a bike!

When I was living in London, I used to love going jogging round the nearby forest cycle track. Used to go for an hour every day

Because I got ill But lately I've been going for some short walks - trying to slowly ease myself back into exercise, hate just staying indoors all the time and lazing about haha

Oh yeah, I forgot about your illness. Doom.
Short walks sounds like a great start! Can you do short runs? Like rather than going for an hour just do a mile or two?

I use to go to the gym but did not like it. I left in June and since then have not been doing any exercises but my cardiologist mentioned about exercising and drinking water, I just started walking and jogging 3 days ago. The first day was difficult, I was knackered. I'm just taking baby steps for now till I get into the rhythm but outdoor I'd definitely fun especially early mornings.

That makes perfect sense! Must be hard fitting in time to do stuff when you have kids!
