Hello,
lots of blogs have wish lists on them with a collage of items they want to buy. How do you create these collages?

I use photoshop to make mine. If you don't have photoshop there is a familiar program called GIMP that is free! Some people also use Polyvore to create their wishlists.

I actually use paint lol I do have photoshop but tend to use it to enhance photos because I find it fiddly with simple stuff if that makes sense? Wish someone would show me but if you choose pictures with a white background, put large numbers and pretty patterns around the pics I find it looks a lot more professional which I've just started doing

You use Paint? I would never have guessed that! Paint has got a lot better since I last used it lol. I've been using Photoshop on-off for about 7 years now so I've got the hang of it, but even now I get a little confused with it. What kind of simple things do you need help with? I could maybe help!

Haha it's not the best because the quality gets compromised but it works for now. Well I can't figure out how to place things, move them around, overlay images etc. When I paste it always puts them in the middle of the image on top of my work. Plus outlining things like numbers to put over pictures without any white around them if you know what I mean? I'm sounding like a real noob at the moment I bet haha x

I use polyvore for mine. It did take a bit of getting used to though

I use an app called 'Paint Pad' on my Mac, there is a free version but I paid a small price for the paid one. It's kind of like paint, you can add pictures, resize them, add text etc. You could use www.pickmonkey.com - I might try that next time I do a wishlist! Corinne x

I love Photoshop - does wonders once you know how to use it and you can search for tutorials online.
I only know some basics to it but I learn as I go along!
I'd also vouch for picmonkey - I found it extremely useful in designing my header and sometimes I use a mixture of Photoshop and picmonkey.

I used to use photoshop loads, I was really into photo manipulation a few years ago and edited a lot of photos and put them on deviantart =)
I learnt everything from tutorials online. I have gimp on my laptop and it's very similar!

Yeah, photoshop is cool and seems very daunting! The trick is to start out simple and just learn new effects as you need them.
I started out just learning how to resize pictures, crop them and use brightness/contrast/colour effects. Then I moved onto adding text, then using brushes and layers.

I used this photo to make this in 2005. Wow, nearly 9 years ago! I wish I didn't stop doing photoshop.

It's so frustrating, isn't it? I used to write so much poetry and do so many great pictures! I got on the front page so many times on DeviantArt, now I hardly use it and all the people that follow me there stopped using it so I don't get many views at all. I still post on there from time to time though! inmyroom.deviantart.com =)
