OK, my previous post inspired this one. I got my first mobile phone in 1999. After Christmas, I used my Christmas money to get a PAYG phone on vodafone from Sainsbury's. It costs about £50 I think as it was on promotion. I remember I had to top up £15 a month and £5 of that would go on line rental. I was 13, I believe. This is the one I had: It had 9 ringtones, could tell the time and could text. The aerial could screw off. Cool.

I had a Nokia 3410. They're basically invincible.

Mine was a Nokia...no idea the model but the one with removable faceplates and the snake game. That was back when AT&T was Cingular and I had a cow print obsession (therefore a cow print faceplate). I would have been about 13/14 I guess...wow I can't believe how long I've had a phone! And how far they've come since I've been using them! From a green lit screen with pixelated display to my fancy iPhone that does almost as much as my computer!

Ha, I know, it's mental! I think you mean the 5110, I had that one two, it was my second phone. You could get those little logos sent to replace where it said your carriers name?

I kind of miss my old one! My parents really didn't want me to get it though as I was only young.

Nokia phones were abundant back then. Mine could only call, text and play snake game. I love my smartphone more now!
